The Marauders

It's a very interesting relationship these boys have with each other. James, being probably the most stable, is the leader. Not officially, but the others look to him. Sirius is a bit of a loose cannon. He's been known to wale on people for no reason other than they used the wrong word to talk about someone. Remus, the werewolf, is the most obvious gentleman of the bunch, but he's got some pretty serious issues too. They just haven't come out yet. And Peter... well, he's a lot smarter than the others give him credit for. He's just so desperate to be a part of any group that he dumbs himself down to be the clown.

They definitely depend on each other a lot. For Sirius, the others are literally his family. They almost always turn to each other when they need something.

Lily/Shannon/Emily

So they're the best of friends, they've known each other since they walked onto the train at Hogwarts.

Funnily enough, they are sort of like the Finch family. Lily is sort of like Scout, in that you make her mad and she'll hit you (see: Chapter 1 of AL). Emily is more like Jem, who lets things fester until she blows up. Definitely a plotter. And Shannon is Atticus, the one who can be furious and still keep her poker face.

All very interesting, I know. Emily is probably the one I've modeled most after myself, must admit, although I'm not athletic and definitely not a blonde. Shannon is like a friend of mine, who is also a brilliant dancer (also @ Shannon, not me) except that said friend has black hair, not red. And Lily... I suppose Lily is the girl I'd like to be and to whom I've always been a friend.
